December 23, 201015 yr (Sorry I made a typo in the title and cannot edit it arrgh...)Hi,Just reinstalled my TrackIR that I have been using earlier and somehow I cannot get the Pause key set up the way I remember it was.I wanted to use the TrackIR pause feature mapped to a Joystick button so that when for example I want to program the FMC I just close in on it with the TrackIR and pause so that I am close enough and the view is fixed on the FMC. This is how I remember having been used it.However now whenever I pause Trackir the view snaps back to the original VC view which is different to where I was pointing with the TrackIR. It paues all right however the whole purpose is defeated as I once again have to use the Joy Hatswitch to see what I want. This is not the TrackIR center key but the pause key that does this. This is slowly driving me insane because I remember that when the TrackIR is paused the view should remain fixed at the last view.I would appreciate any assistance from fellow TRackIR users. Maybe I do not remember right and it is normal that the view snaps back to default VC view when TRackIR is paused.Thank youAlex
December 24, 201015 yr To pause the TRacKIR when programming the FMC you really should be using the 'Mouse 3' function. This is done by setting the pause function by selecting the 'press down on the mouse wheel' after all, you'll be using the mouse anyway for programming and or, altering the flight controls too.Try that, as it seem that the button you may have been using previously is unsuitable. It never really occurred to me that this behaviour could be related to the button I used at all. Still learning it seems. Thank you again for your help.Alex
