December 27, 201015 yr Commercial Member If NVIDIA follows their usual sequencing should we expect a release of a GTX 560 relatively soon?Hard to say, the GTX460 is actually based on the same GF110 chip core that the GTX570 and GTX580 are... video card naming schemes never really make sense. The GTX460 is better than a GTX465 for instance, the 465 being the older GF100 core. If they release a 560 I'd guess it'd have to be somewhere around a GTX470 in terms of performance. December 27, 201015 yr Author Thanks. I just spent some time on a few hardware forums, including Nvidia's. There's much talk of a January 20 release date for the 560. As you said, it's based on the GF110 core. January looks like a good month for hardware with the Sandy Bridge release and now the 560. Should be a good system for FSX.
