I'm old school and like paper. I'm still trying to figure out some basic functions of these sims, Are there any publications out there to decrease the learning curve? Thanks

When I start P3Dv5, the progress bar shows the scenery loading, then it minimizes and drops to the system tray. That's it. I can't figure out a way to resume loading and start to to fly. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Does P3D support NVidia's frame generation?

Peter... Thanks. I found the Community folder in "Microsoft store" location. It is empty. Is that significant to my problem?

Thanks Bill... No luck so far. First, where is the Community folder? Resetting the cloud saves apparently refers to the steam edition. I have the MS edition. The frozen sim zendesk suggestion leads me to powershell. I have an older edition of powershell that doesn't appear or behave like the one described. The current edition seems to require some programming experience I don't have. If you can steer me to the community folder I'll check that out Gracias.

Hi Kids... I was starting MSFS last night and it started downloading a mandatory World Update. The download took a long time, then it started started decompressing files. The decompression ran a longer time and I thought it may have frozen. I gave up, and let it run overnight In the morning there was no change. I had to use task Manager to shut it down. Now when I try to start I get the option to proceed in safe mode or normally. Either way, t begins to load, but freezes at "New Activities." I can only exit through task manager... My guess is the update was corrupted... I have no idea how to proceed. Any suggestions... Thanks

Who is "they"? I downloaded direct from Blackbird. "They" did not link to the Microsoft warning and I wouldn't have expected them to.

With several, Microsoft defender blocks installation. Apparently doesn't recognize publisher. With others the installation path is unclear. Some installs appear to go normally, files download, but the aircraft never appears on within P3D. On a few I disconnected my connection to the internet during the install so Defender can't call home and block the installation. That appears to cure the problem, the install proceeds, but the aircraft doesn't appear in the selection menu. I don't know how old these models are, but some apparently look for P3D v4 path which must be different than v5.4. Overall, just one of life's little abrasions, but I'm glad they were free.

MILVIZ made a nice distribution of some of ther older stuff to be distributed free by Blackbird Simulations. No support though. I've found most of them just about impossible to install. What's the secret? https://blackbirdsims.com/flight/freebies.php

I'm building a new rig, primarily for P3D and MSFS. What is the most humane (and legal) to move flight sim files from one to the other. I have very large installations of these sims plus ORBIX and a few others. Can I use my existing license numbers to download a fresh installations to the new drives? Should I try to clone the drives? That would leave all the old junk on the new drives. Do I have to re-purchase the sims? Thanks.
