Alaska looks great in Tongass Fjords and Pacific Fjords scenery, but when you get up by Juneau, all the mountains turn from green to tan. I've tried a couple of landclass sceneries but no joy. Does anyone have a fix for this. I've watched PBS Over Alaska show, and Alaska is surprisingly green.

Are you looking at default scenery there (Juneau) or do you use UTX Alaska or something? You are outside of any OrbX coverage there.I'm just asking because I wouldn't give much on the default representation in FSX. UTX really is a tip then but I have to check it myself if "green" hits the spot up there.

I've got UTX and the shorlines and roads, etc look great but I don't think UTX changes the landclass.

But as they point out urban areas, you could well be right with the more rural ones lacking of some features. I remember some other landclass only products but they weren't made for Alaska I think.Maybe a scenery dev can give you some tips there, for just changing the landclass of Alaska to a more greener one.
