PSS Autopilot HELP!

Featured Replies

Hello there, this is Rohan and I had a question. When I set up a complete route in the FMC with the PSS 777 addon, everything works fine. After takeoff when I arm the VNAV, so the plane will control the speed, it shows that is working but really the plane doesn't control it and the 777 goes above 500 knots! I need help thank you! Also it isn't my route mistake. I am sure that it is the config. on the addon.

Without getting too technical, VNAV does not control speed alone you still need the A/T to be armed. On take off your FMA shoud read THR REF then HOLD and finaly SPD. AFDS pitch mode will then read VNAV SPD.My memory is a little hazy but those are the basics. Remember the FMA tells you exactly what the automatics are doing.I never tried the posky merge so if you already knew the above and it's still not working then I'm stumped, I would have thought a lack of A/T control would have been picked up ages ago by others flying the merge.Regards
