December 30, 201015 yr Hello, The problem I am having is that my clouds one moment are very real looking 3D clouds and the next they are very flat, 2D and grey. Sometime when I'm flying It doen't do it but then other time it will do this every 2 or 3 seconds. It's not a huge problem but I would really appreciate some advise because it is rather annoying. Thanks in advance

December 30, 201015 yr Sounds like this problem isn't actually a problem, but just the weather engine rendering stratus clouds rather than cumulus. i7 2600k @ 5.1Ghz, ASUS Sabertooth P67, 8GB Corsair Vengeance DDR3 1600Mhz, EVGA GTX 580 @ 950MHz, OCZ Vertex II 240GB, ASUS Xonar DG, Thermaltake Toughpower XT 875W PSU, Antec KÜHLER 620 W/C, Corsair 600T SE White My FS9 Screens - http://fs9screens.blogspot.com/ Callum Richardson

December 30, 201015 yr Hi all. I don't think it's different type of cloud. It simply realistic and the unrealistic!
December 31, 201015 yr I just had myself a flight and the clouds were simply stunning, a real sense of skimming the bottom of the clouds on approach. just one of those FS moments!!!!!! December 31, 201015 yr Hi All,Make sure that in FS 3D clouds is set to 100%. Also note that stratus clouds are always 2D as mentioned. A screen shot of what you are seeing could help us also.
