First of all, make sure your power supply can handle the load for the upgrade..Asus is a good brand. The 250 would certainly be a nice improvement over your 8500.. but atthe same time, I would consider overclocking your Q6600 to at least 3 GHz.I run my Q6600 at 3.2 GHz with the Intel cooler/fan and withoutany change in voltages.. That is a 30% free boost in performance :-)

Thanks for your reply! I will follow your advice although I dont know how to improve the Ghz.... Could you explain what do I have to do!Also, as I am not english I dont know what you mean by "power supply".Thanks a lot anyway.HAPPY NEW YEAR...... :)Risto.

The Power Supply Unit (PSU) receives electrical power from your wall socket and provides the electrical power to your PC.Cheers,- jahman.

Ok bu how can I change that??

Same way you change motherboard or disk drive: Buy a new one, take the old one out, put the new one in :-)
