December 31, 201015 yr Can someone please advise if it is possible to increase the tree density in fs9 by editing the autogen xml,or by another method.Dimitri.
December 31, 201015 yr Commercial Member I don't know if that's possible, quite probably it is, but I wouldn't know how. I've done photosceneries and added autogen up the wazzoo with the "annotator" which is included in the Autogen SDK available here:http://download.microsoft.com/download/3/d/4/3d460861-18ca-433c-9118-75f749ecce36/autogen_sdk_setup.exeThere is some info in the SDK about editing the autogen XML, you may find a quick global solution there.Jim

January 1, 201115 yr You could modify the .agn files under /scenery/World/scenery using the Autogen Annotator (part of the scenery SDK I think). The max trees allowed per tile is I believe 600 and buildings 400. This work has already been done and altered .agns are available, but I cant remember the name of the Addon or the site it was available on.Dave
January 1, 201115 yr Hi Dave thanks for your reply.I downloaded the sdk that Jim recommended and I'm playing with it to see what I can do.I will also try to do what you suggested.I would like to ultimately increase the amount of trees but decrease the amount of buildings in any given area.I'm afraid however that I might stuff things up! :( Regards,Dimitri
