"It's very clear we're at the beginning of this process," Gates told the developers. "We need your feedback. We need your involvement to get this right." ....This was said at the recent unveiling of MS new version of Windows (code named 'Longhorn').I wonder if he intends these sentiments to work both ways? I wish :(Mike

I somehow thing a new OS is way up the ladder compared to FS, but it would be nice!Regards, MichaelKDFWhttp://mysite.verizon.net/res052cd/mybannercva1.jpgCalVirAir International VAwww.calvirair.comCougar Mountain Helicopters & Aviationwww.cgrmtnhelos.com

Ha ha, he he. I'm sorry, but whenever I see something like this, I can't help but bust a gut at the thought of Gates/Microsoft/Jobs doing anything, ummm, properly or right. The linux/practicle man in me is coming out :)

I wonder if you could do any better then? You have your chance now in view of what big Bill has said :-lol I don't mean to be offensive but I'm getting more than fed up with MS bashing.David

David, I don't believe Fred's comments should be regraded as 'Microsoft Bashing' but more an expression of the intense frustration felt by many of us at the apparent unwillingness of MS to go some way towards accomodating the heartfelt wishes of our community.Mike

As a former Linux fanatic I have to say that Windows XP is a really fine operating system, and other MS products like Office or Visual Studio have matured and become quite good as well.BUT it's a sad reality that the lacking response to problems reported by the community regarding FS2004 has been disappointing. Personally I am most disappointed by the weak multiple monitor support. It's really become a running joke to request a patch for FS2004, because nobody believes this will happen. Don't get me wrong, I really like FS2004, and it runs quite well on my system, but compared to other game developers, the feedback and support for FS2004 is really bad.Just my 2c (EUR),VOlker :]

Completely agree with you there VOlker,FS 98 and 2000 got patches, as almost all the games do, (including those from Microsoft) BUT FS 2002 AND 2004, wich would need also ones, don't. Why?AC5

Why?>>AC5Simple. M$F$ 2004 is selling right now like hot cakes. And so did M$F$ 2002. Why in the world would Microsoft want to spend more money on fixing, when apparently sales are high anyway? Basically, Microsofts view is that it is selling, very well, and because sales are high there is no need to fix it.
