January 2, 201115 yr Hey Guys,I'm using WOAI and I decided to make AI aircraft flyable and edited the cfgs a bit. It works wonderfully for every aircraft apart from TFS's A340s. After changing gross weights, fuel capacity and engine thrust they start to jump up and down at the Gate. I tried changing contact points but that didn't help maybe one of you more experienced guys has an idea what exactly causes this. Also I noticed unusally high approach speeds around 180 to 200 knots. Is this normal and can it be solved by changing the .air file? Thanks,Doc FSX --- Intel Core 2 Duo E4400 overclocked to 3GHz --- HD4650 --- 4GB DDR2 Memory --- Vista 32 Bit Addon Aircraft: Wilco A318-321, Wilco 737 Classic, Wilco 777, Carenado Beech F33A Bonanza Addon Scenery: Aerosoft Bremen, Aerosoft Maldives X, Aerosoft Gibraltar X Addon Utilities: Radar Contact 4, SuperTrafficBoard Others that I can't remember ;-)
January 2, 201115 yr Try turning down your "Mesh Complexity" in FSX settings.180-200 Knots? Isn´t that normal?
January 2, 201115 yr 180-200 Knots? Isn´t that normal? No. Definately not. Approach speeds are around 130-145 knots depending on aircraft. January 2, 201115 yr Author I thought it should rather be 140-180 knots depending on aircraft size. However, I just put the fuel 20 feet to the front and that stops the A340-300 from bouncing. Haven't tried it with the -600 yet, though. Guess it's solved. Thanks for your help though PFL!
