3rd shot is overhead hamble with warsash/locks heath to port of the a/c and fawley power station in front of the nose. I know this because I live here!
  2. Looks like a font missing but I don't know how to resolve this. Someone will....
  3. Not too difficult. I know that in some places, part of training is to be blind folded and told to touch a certain switch or button. This is to get used to the layout of the flightdeck and could even come in handy during extreme emergency situations.
  4. Turn the battery on and then the dome light? Probably what real world crews would do.
  5. I'd be way more excited about OAA!! Congratulations on getting in :)
  6. Looking most forward to the EFB for charts and performance calculations.
  7. If you could provide us with a print screen then we'd be able to help you easier. Also, all posts in the PMDG forums must be signed with your FULL name.
  8. To the right of the of fuel cutoff switches on the centre pedestal.
  9. Literally all you'll need to do is download the -600/-700 installer and run it.
  10. LOL! This very moment I am posting in their forum urging them to make it complex then I get an email from avsim saying I've been quoted about the same matter hahaha
  11. I completely 100% agree on a PMDG 787... the QW looks to be amazing but will be 'lite', so a PMDG version would be nuts!
  12. This, without doubt, definitely won't be done. To start why would PMDG want to do this? Where would they get the resources from etc? Too much hastle for nothing IMO.
  13. Anything between 2-8 hours for me
  14. Yeah, I dying to see the flight deck with all the avionics on etc... even nicer would be passing minimums on short final.
  15. Run the installer and select 'Repair'. If that fails then do a full reinstall of the NGX. If that fails then open a support ticket with PMDG.

OKay, thanks for the answer Rob :)

Who decides whether it is the Captain or First Officer that lands the plane? Is each leg planned and assigned to a pilot before the flight during dispatch? Is it decided in the air and ultimately relies on whether the Captain is in a good mood? As far as I understand that FO and Captain both perform as many landings and takeoffs as eachother - i.e. a 50/50 split. Thanks
  18. Jordan posted a topic in PMDG 777
In the image you can see a display and a few controls to the aft right of the flight deck. I've never seen this before, what is it for? I can see what looks like a track pad too maybe? And of course, the all-important question - will it be modelled on the PMDG 777?! :P Thanks
  19. Hang on, where are the wheels on the tug in the first pic?!
  20. Ahhhh!! How could I not have guessed?! :LMAO:
  21. Can someone answer me a question real quick; why do they refuel while banking to the left? Does that not just make it harder?
  22. Try a reinstall of the NGX, if that doesn't resolve the issue then file a support ticket with PMDG.
  23. Complete cold and dark state. Parking brake on, chocks in place.
  24. Beta shouldn't (touch wood) be as long as it was foe the NGX because they had to work out the kinks in their new platform... now that's done it's just tweaking the aircraft as opposed to the underlying structure.
