Hello I'm looking for some information regarding the Noise Abatement Procedure. I often take off from Gatwick and I am aware there is a NAP, however I'm not sure where the information regarding this is on the chart and where to obtain the correct information so that I take off using the rules of the airport. Can anyone explain to me the process and how I know I'm using the correct take off settings etc? Thanks Matthew

Being new to the Baron, I'm scrolling through the manuals (great POH again!), looking for some differences on the actual checklists. That's from knowing the C310 for while, sort of running her based on habits now. Now here's the first question. Why does the Baron POH state to run the aux fuel pumps off (except for high ambient temps) and the C310 goes for aux fuel pumps on (low setting)? The engines are both IO-520 M (C310) and C (E55). That's for takeoff and landing at both planes. Not a nitpicking question, just out of curiosity. Looking for that rw pilot to sim pilot exchange. By the way, you had a landscape format on the C310's POH, which made more sense for the diagrams. Ok, that was nitpicking. Oh, a wish. You had some GPU for the T-38. Can we get some small one for the Baron?

I cant find where the cutout switch is for the annoying warning horn for the "landing gear not down" situation if you have flaps 15 or more selected. Sometimes I would find it conveniate to silence the alarm. FCOM just says that it can be silenced by pressing the cutout switch but could someone point out exactly where in the cocpit can I find the button/switch? :)

Hi everyone, I was using AFG's YS-11 over at a friend's house, but we couldn't get the engines up without slewing into the air, and back to the ground. Theoretically, it's fully FSX compatible, but after trying exactly what the manual said, we couldn't get an engine up. Then we tried different combinations of the fuel levers, feathered/not feathered, throttle position, and other things. One thing I noticed however, was that in the air, the engines would start; I purposely killed them, and then followed the procedures, and they started. I wouldn't think being in the air would make a difference. Any tips? Thanks,

FSX-MS Nemeth Designs/MilViz Chinook STARTUP
AtlanticAviator posted a topic in MS FSX | FSX-SE Forum
Hi! I am having problems starting the Nemeth Designs/MilViz Ch-47 Chinook . I have read through the manual to find out how to start this bird but it never seems to happen :( . The engines *DO* start-up but there is no rotation from the blades what-so-ever (Even with the ECL in GND Mode). Could someone please explain to me how to start-up this helicopter or any kind of tutorial would be appreciated! Kriss :t4012: . -

Could someone be so kind as to point me in the proper direction? I want to learn how to take the livery textures, as posted in the forums, and make executable files, as provided by PMDG. Thanks in advance.

Is there a general rule of thumb of correcting outbound timing when flying rawdata in big jets? I was inspired by Nick Collets videopreview of the 777.. That got me wondering. What do you do when flying a holding at 200 kts? How do you correct the timing for known wind? Hope this makes sence!
