August 2, 201213 yr In the image you can see a display and a few controls to the aft right of the flight deck. I've never seen this before, what is it for? I can see what looks like a track pad too maybe? And of course, the all-important question - will it be modelled on the PMDG 777?! :P Thanks Jordan Gregory MOBO: MSI P67A-C45 (B3) CPU: Intel i5-2500K @ 3.8GHz RAM: 8GB Corsair XMS3 DDR3 @1600MHz GPU: NVIDIA 1GB GTX 560 @ 900MHz CASE: Antec 300 PSU: Rasurbo 650W GaminX HDD: Western Digital Caviar Black 1TB OS: Windows 7 Home Premium 64 Bit
August 2, 201213 yr Maint. Console? 67's had something somewhat similar on the psuedo-kinda-designed-then-removed-in-some-planes F/E panel. Patrick Houghton

August 2, 201213 yr That is the MAT-2000 Maintenance access terminal, I think its used to test things of the aircraft, http://www.rockwellcollins.com/sitecore/content/Data/Products/System_Health_Management/Maintenance/MAT-2000_Maintenance_Access_Terminal.aspx. August 3, 201213 yr do you guys think its going to be simulated ? Fernando B ( I know I misspelled Boeing, I did it on purpose to make it Unique )
August 3, 201213 yr Kewl, never knew such things existed. As for PMDG's T7, their maint panel is already in the CDU :P Charan KumarFSX/XPX vPilotVATSIM ZOA and Oceanic Controller (Pacific) Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world. August 3, 201213 yr Cool pic, anybody else jealous of that 20 year old? Lol -Travis "For once you have tasted flight you will walk the earth with your eyes turned skywards, for there you have been and there you will long to return." Leonardo da Vinci
August 3, 201213 yr Cool pic, anybody else jealous of that 20 year old? Lol -Travis I was thinking the same thing. Must not be in the US... Thanks!Nick CrateChief Executive OfficerFedEx Virtual Air Cargo
August 3, 201213 yr You should see the JAL pilots that I run into on a daily basis, the FO always looks to be no older than 25 or so. What is interesting that there are two Captains instead of two FO's for their ORD-NRT flight. Alex Jevdic KORD/KHOT/KPWKA<380 love at first flight
August 3, 201213 yr The maintenance console does not relate to the flying of the plane in any way. Even if there is malfunction the pilots have no procedure to use it during the flight. So I highly doubt PMDG will waste time to simulate this. It's of almost same level of importance as, let's say the coffee makers in the galleys. ;) Regards, Martin Martinov / VATSIM 1207931
August 3, 201213 yr Cool pic, anybody else jealous of that 20 year old? Lol My friend got in with EK on the 777's at 23! They only require 2,500 Jet/Multi-Engine/Multi-Crew hours! Not bad at all. - Luke Pabari
