Thought I'd add my support! Buy it, especially if you have joystick/throttles... the profile config is essential (example: I use it with Saitek X52 Pro and have set throttle curve so that my throttle preset is correct for taxi power). I also fly (cough, cough) a 767 and FSUIPC allows interfacing other software so I can control cockpit functions from other hardware.

Dont forget autosave, a very useful feature if your system isnt 100% rock stable. With an autosave feature you could just reload the save from 5 minues ago if your computer crashes for some reason.

I'd call it 100% required if you use any CH hardware, specifically the throttle quadrant, or any weather program. I disable joysticks in the sim and do the entire shebang with FSUIPC and no longer have stupid joystick issues.Also, the MD-11 stops falling out of the sky due to horrific wind shifts from ASE.-stefan
