January 9, 201115 yr Hello avsim, the PMDG 737NG aircraft is a great aircraft, but I have one problem. At any random occasion, my radios get stuck and I cannot change the frequencies of my NAV or COM radios. They are stuck no matter how many times i click on the dials. I'm currently using the 737-900 and I have updated to service pack 1anyone know a fix to this? I'd really appreciate it!thanks!
January 9, 201115 yr http://forum.avsim.net/topic/240151-pmdg-forum-rules-read-before-posting/What version of FSUIPC are you using? There have been some reported issues with that in the past. Joe Sherrill
January 11, 201115 yr Spartan07 (I'm sorry I don't know your name, see forum rules), That should be the version that works (I think it was 3.95 that was causing issues). If all else fails, you can reinstall the product, which will revert the FSUIPC to the version that was current when the NG was released. Joe Sherrill
January 11, 201115 yr My name is Neil Johnson, and thanks, I'll try that :(It may also be the battery drain issue. Make sure the FSUIPC option is checked that overrides the native FS battery drain. George Morris

January 12, 201115 yr sorry I'm a noobie at this, i'm not sure what you mean...There is an "Extend Battery Life" option in on of the FSUIPC configuration tabs. Check it and see if this helps. I am currently unable to post a screen shot but maybe someone else can. George Morris

January 14, 201115 yr thanks for the help guys, again i appreciate it.I jumped the gun without looking back here and reinstalled both FSUIPC + PMDG + FS9lengthy process but so far so good, radio freqs are changing without a problem!
January 15, 201115 yr You really should be sure you are running the current FSUIPC. If not issues may occur in other areas that may not be readily apparent. For FS9 3.98 is minimum. I am not experiencing a problem with radio tuning manual or letting RC do it. For testing I'm using 3.98a but that has been superseded. Here's how to update it;Get the base FSUIPC version from:http://www.schiratti.com/dowson.htmland then interim update from the modules link on this page:http://forum.simflight.com/forum/142-download-links/FSUIPC now self installs initially based on your registry entry for your FS path. Check that with this free utility:FSX/FS9 Registry Repair Tool (36KB) from http://www.flight1.com/view.asp?page=library
