I have the 737-6+700 and have no problems flying , I just installed the 800+900 ,the flight goes well but after i land and use reverse thrust ,when i push the throttle foreward to come out of reverse FS-9 freezes ,the engine sound goes up + down but the sim is frozen + i have to shut the computer down, I have windows XP + FS-9 ,Also when i put a freeware panel in it dosent do this,does anyone know what causes this to happen .

This sounds like something bigger than the NG, are you sure all of your drivers are updated? Also do you have the latest version of FSUIPC?

I have the latest version of FSUIPC , this only happens with the 737-800 + 737-900 panel, all other planes are fine. it definitly has something to do with the panel.

Make sure you are using the panel icons or the hot keys assigned in the PMDG setup dropdown in the FS Menu bar. Don't use the normal SHIFT-1, SHIFT-2, etc to switch panel windows/views such as when looking at the throttle quad and then returning to the main or zoon panel.The PMDG 800-900 if purchased separately will update the 600/700 gauges. Once the service pack has been installed for the 800/900 they should basically operate the same.If you purchased the 600/700-800/900 combo CD I'm not sure about the install sequence. A few years ago I purchased the Aerosoft version of the 600/700 and the 800/900 CDs as separate products and there is a specific install and service pack application order.Mine are registered on the Aerosoft site to give me access to the product specific FAQ and service packs they supply.

If it isn't a driver issue and its not third party hardware related then it is most likely an install issue. You may need to re-install. I recommend opening a ticket on the PMDG support site and see what they think.

I found out what the problem was,somehow the panel configuation file from the 600 + 700 panel was missing .
