Very Strange CTD

Featured Replies

I am finding a very strange thing when flying from some of my Israeli sceneries. At different points in the flight (it seems pretty random) there is a "metallic clunk" sound and the screen freezes. When I press ESC it goes straight to the desk top. As far as I can remember I haven't added any scenery that should be conflicting and only a few AI aircraft that I hadn't been using before. It doesn't seem to happen at every airport - but the ones that it does happen at are at different ends of the country. Nearby airports don't seem to be affected - for example, it happens at LLET Eilat but not at LLOV Ovda AFB which is just a few miles away. WEIRD! :( Any suggestions?

It might be a bad texture in one of the AI aircraft which you have just started using. Get rid of the recent AI additions and try again.Colin B

I think you may be right Colin. I just did so and made two flights without anything happening. But what is odd is that the CTD happened at airfields where those AI aircraft were not present and didn't happen where they were! But we all know how FS9 likes to keep us guessing. So for now, the IAF will have to do without their Kfir and Dagger jets unless I find another cause.Ian
