January 17, 201115 yr I am greatly enjoying the new FSX panel contribution for this fine bird and again wish to thank those that made this conversion available. I do however have one stange occurance. As I advance my throttles engine sound decreases. I can press "Q" on the keyboard to cut sound off, then turn it back on and I will have regained engine sound but it is constant not varying with throttle movement. In the outside view engine sound is constant and virtually does not change with throttle adjustments. The default sound is alliased to the FS Default Lear 45. I have also tried copying the entire Lear45 Sound folder from FSX. I also tried the folder out of FS9 as well as well as other aircraft sound folders with exactly the same result. Has anyone else experienced this and if so does anyone know a solution? While I am at it I will also ask a generic question which seems to apply to a number of aircraft. I find that in several third party aircraft including the Falcon 50 that engine sound is not affected by adjustment to the slider in the Options>Settings>Sound>Engines provisions. The sound is the same regardless if the slider is at 0 or 100% (Full left or right). I have always just assumed that this is something that does not work in aircraft that are ported over from FS9 although I have not confirmed this.Respectfully:RTH
January 18, 201115 yr I believe there are alternatives to the default soundpacks. I have not actually tested the F50 on my weak computer as of today, but IMO they will work seamlessly with the model without problems. Audio Environment X makes it better. Dave. January 19, 201115 yr However, please note that before you start rushing to go all out with the Audio Environment X package, please note that this package is PAYWARE. Dave.
