January 18, 201115 yr Hi all,If I attempt to autoland the MD11, everything goes fine until after touchdown when the rudder suddenly goes full left or full right. This would be ok if it didn't make taxing the aircraft so difficult. The rudder can be centred with the joystick, but when the pressure is released it's back to full left or right again. If I land the aircraft manually flying the ILS then everything is fine, it only happens if I attempt autoland.I'm sure others have already said it, but what a fantastic aircraft. The other aircraft in my hanger are decidedly dusty now!!David. Happy Flying, Dave Phillips.
