Help a Returning Simmer

Featured Replies

Hello all. I am returning to simming after a LONG hiatus. Fortunately, my original screen name was still available so some of you old timers might remember me.You could save me a TON of time by responding the the following:1. What is the best DA 40 add on (commercial is fine) in your opinion.2. Ditto re: the best G1000 add on...one that simulates a very high percentage of actual G1000 functionality.I ask because I am a real world pilot and will soon be checking out in a DA 40 with the G1000.THANKS in advance...and I look forward to a dialog with many of you in the future.Regards,Jim

Welcome back! In regards to the G1000, I think the best is the Cessna Citation Mustang over at Flight1.Best regards,Jim

Thanks Jim. I'll check it out.regards,Jim

If you have a decent rig, yep, the Mustang's G1000 is the most realistic around. It can only be used in the Mustang. There's only one DA40 I know of, by IRIS:http://www.irisfss.com/product-pro-da40.php
