January 21, 201115 yr Looking through the NGX manuals, I see Integrated Approach Navigation (IAN) approaches mentioned quite a bit. I'm still not too sure what these are exactly but they sound like GPS approaches. Are these basically WAAS approaches for the airlines? Ryan Gamurot

January 21, 201115 yr Author WOW!!! :( Very impressive. Another question (if you can/are allowed to answer), although the NGX is capable off all this, is it something already incorporated into FSX or maybe in the Navigraph AIRAC? I'm referring more to the GLS's vertical guidance as I don't think, other than ILS's, its something ever seen or used in FS before. Ryan Gamurot
January 21, 201115 yr I saw you all had mentioned GLS before- I wonder how you can implement that in FSX without any local GBAS stations simulated? Then again people manage to emulate WAAS/LPV approaches.I'm assuming GLS is the "FMS/Boeing" equivalent of a "cessna/WAAS" type LPV approach? Minima look similar. For AIRAC data, the only thing I still wonder about is RF legs (anyone wondering what an RF Leg is should look at some of the KRNO RNAV approaches, the curved type approaches between outer waypoints). Thanks!Matt Thanks! January 21, 201115 yr Commercial Member More will be said about this as we get closer to the release - you are correct that navdata is a problem though, most of these approaches are made specifically for the airlines and are not part of the public dataset...
