January 27, 201115 yr Hello and welcome to the forum!First, please have a look at the forum rules posted here. If you are not comfortable with those rules you can submit a ticket here (registration required). Now for your problem. When exactly does the crash occur? Try to be more specific. Are you using an up to date version of the aircraft? It should be version 1.20. Do other aircraft still work like they should? If not, it sounds like a validation problem or possibly data corruption to me. Have you tried searching the Windows Event Log for any clues? "A life is like a garden. January 28, 201115 yr Commercial Member It's in the user control panel. With windows 7, make sure you have admin rights granted to the Microsoft Flight Sim X folder. I'm not sure it would cause full out crashes, but I wouldn't be surprised. Kyle Rodgers

January 29, 201115 yr Commercial Member What do you mean "when you try to use that"? When you grant admin rights to the folders, there's no single event. Rights are fully and persistently given. That being said, it should make the problem better, not worse. You might be best reinstalling, as you mentioned. Kyle Rodgers

January 30, 201115 yr Commercial Member Attitude is not appreciated since I'm trying to help you here. Though I could continue to offer help, that really makes me re-think the effort on typing an involved explanation of my ideas and the processes for the fixes. Kyle Rodgers
