Cold and Dark Cockpit

Featured Replies

Hello. I was wondering of how I can get every flight to start with a cold and dark cockpit with everything completely off. Can someone help me please? Thanks.

Hello,You can stop all on a aircraft .. and save the flight as default flightThe next time you start FS2004 the plane will be cold and darkIf you choice another aircraft it will be also cold and darkOr you can use this !Flightsim.com

FS2002 - FS2002 Misc.FS2002/FS2004 FS Aircraft Shutdown[ Download | View ]Name: fsas13.zip Size: 1,442,338 Date: 12-13-2003 Downloads: 1,160FS2002/FS2004 FS Aircraft Shutdown v1.3. FS Aircraft Shutdown systematically shuts down aircraft systems if they are in use. This is useful if you've created and started a flight with the aircraft "running" but prefer to start with a "cold and dark" cockpit. It's also useful if you don't want to manually execute shutdown procedures after a flight for whatever reason. By Mark Schilberg.

This is another method of getting cold and dark everytime you load fs2004

Open file FLTSIM.FLT (via Notepad) in your FS root/flights/other directory, scroll down and make some changes, such as:[Engine Parameters.1]ThrottleLeverPct=0.000000PropellerLeverPct=0.000000MixtureLeverPct=0.000000Pct Engine RPM=0.000000LeftMagneto=FalseRightMagneto=FalseGeneratorSwitch=TrueCowlFlapPct=0.000000FuelPumpSwitch=FalseCarbHeat/DeiceSwitch=False[systems]BatterySwitch=FalseAvionicsSwitch=FalseStructuralDeiceSwitch=FalsePropDeiceSwitch=False
