For some reason after I get the clearance to descend and maintain "X" altitude and ATC wants me down 30 miles or less a little later the co pilot says "approach "XXX" needs to leave the frequency to get weather" and then for some reason FS9 just CRASHES! getting very irratating too. I figured that this will always cause a crash if the ATIS in the afcad is set to one thing but radar contact has another. What I usually do is go to controller info before I start RC and just change the frequency to the correct one my afcad has and it usually works. HOWEVER my last 2 flights have crashed when Otto wants to leave the frequency to get weather. The weird thing is I didnt have to change the frequency in controller info for these flights because it already matched the one in the afcad of the airports I was flying to. I have no clue how to fix this. I just ran the Rebuild Scenery DB and Ill give it a go next time I go fly but ill be very :( if that doesnt solve the problem. I have one question also if anyone knows. If I uncheck the WX Brief box on the controller info page will that make it so Otto wont try to leave the frequency to get weather?? Because Ill just do that if it will stop him from doing that..I can tune the frequency myself and get weather if i wanted to and that wont cause a crash. It only crashes when he does it. Any suggestions?

it's not really not rc that is crashing fs9. but you can fix this almost all the time by adding an entry in the fsuipc.ini file. in the general section, add the line RemoveATC=Yesjd
