  1. Seems like maybe a different alternative to virtual pilots association or a better version of worldwide virtual? What I cannot seem to figure out is if they support general aviation flying as well. I personally would be interested in paying big bucks for the acars to use at my Virtual Airline. It looks like it has a ton of quirks to it especially compared to what we have right now on the market with kacars and smartcars. http://www.livedispatch.org/ http://www.livedispatch.org/articles_screenshots
  2. I purchased RC back in Feb 2012 and I just uninstalled it so I can get a fresh new install because Makerunways was not working properly. and I still have my original email from 2012. I purchased the extended download service for an additional $8.95 as you can see below. Extended Download Service 1 @ USD 8.95 each PRODUCT SUPPORT INFORMATION - SWREG Customer Service If you require the download for your products, SWREG can help. Please contact SWREG athttps://www.cardquery.com/. But when I go to that link and enter my email and product key it says download expired? :(
  3. This scenery has been out for quite some time. Has anyone been able to make a crosswind afcad to make AI traffic take off on the 1s and land on the 28s like what was done with the Flytampa SFO scenery? I have tried but without success. Its very unrealistic to see a line of 40+ aircraft going to 28L for takeoff never getting takeoff clearance because of the landing traffic inbound.
  4. why are you even bringing VPA into this discussion? This thread is about "virtual airlines" which VPA is not. It is simply a group of virtual pilot enthusiast. VPA does not emulate any airline at all. It is a place to log flights and thats it. However VPA is a fine group to be apart of however once again I will reiterate why is VPA being brought into this? The original poster's main grip is not being able to use time compression and sitting at a computer clicking a button to check in every so often which is what VPA is all about, (which VPA does not allow) therefore VPA does not solve the problem here. I can say that Delta doesnt either but it is the closest thing out of all the virtual airlines out there. Obviously if you dont like flying out of ATL/JFK/MSP then Delta wouldnt be the airline for you then.
  5. That is with any VA...you have to fly their routes...so what? What is your point? If you join the VA you obviously like how their route structure is set up im assuming or else why join? I like the T7 and the 320 but I do not like flying in the UK as much as the US so I would never join British Airways Virtual for example. Deltava does not go by how much time you have in an aircraft to fly the T777....you only need 10 flights in a stage 4 program and pass that captains exam then pass the FO exam for the T7 stage 5. those 10 flights only have to be like 150nm or something ridiculously short, I cant remember the number exactly but that is not hard at all. sure you have to put in some effort to pass the check ride but the staff and everyone is helpful. They already let you fly whatever airplane you want you are rated to fly on any delta route, if they didnt make you earn that rating it would be a complete circus of a virtual airline.
  6. which is why deltava.org is probably the best VA out there...if you want to accelerate time then feel free however it says on your pirep that you did that and that flight will not count towards promotion to captain in the airframe you are flying. I think the best part about that VA is you can make it as real as you want or as fake as you want. Sometimes I want to fly the scheduled flight with the scheduled aircraft from ATL-DCA and sometimes i want to fly a 777 into DCA even thought that would never happen in real life. I like how I can fly any aircraft im rated for on any delta route which is just about anywhere. They dont require you fly with a delta livery and with the codeshares you can pretty much fly anywhere and any aircraft delta operates, has operated or any aircraft a codeshare partner has operated or operates currently. Correct me if im wrong but the only major aircraft not availble right now is the 787 and that will be coming soon enough. The airline truly lets you decide how real you want to be...They have the best acars in the flightsim world with the ability to divert if need be and continue onto your final destination meanwhile every other VA uses Kacars it seems...The only acars that comes close is the one at virtual aircanada (VAC) The fact is flying a 777 into DCA creates a challenge for me and makes it more fun. THIS IS NOT A JOB. I was all about realism about 6-7 years ago in flight sim but now i have also crossed the threshold where I have a job and other things to do than set the airplane on autopilot for 4 to X amount of hours and come back and land it later. There is nothing real about that. And for the few that sit there for 10 hours or 6 hours on a transcon, More power to ya! Rarely do people have time or more importantly desire to do that.
  7. So basically What im getting here is it can't be done...?
  8. Is it possible without the plane trying to turn hard to one side of which Ever engine is not running? In real life aircraft don't seem to have trouble at all doing this. Is this a flight sim limitation? Or is there something within FSUIPC, etc I'm missing out on?
  9. http://virginamericavirtual.com/ Apart of the Virgin Group: http://www.virginatlanticva.co.uk/ This one indeed has the approval of the real airline.
  10. Im sorry but the double chime im looking for is a little more smooth. This is simply the chime from FS passengers that you both provided.
  11. Fine enough.that's like the most information I think I have ever seen about V5. I like others would also get over it eventually if it was announced that V5 wont be coming out but a bone once in a while really doesn't hurt. V4 is really good. Even still don't be surprised to see a thread like this arise next year....Thankson another note...if it is never released it is considered vaporware. The fact is it was announced but has not been released nor cancelled . It will continue to be defined as vaporware until the software has surfaced for the public. In my opinion this is no different than Microsoft Train Simulator 2. I'm sure there was plenty of beta platforms of that game as well. But no one ever saw it because it was never finished (or even started for all we know) to be available for purchase therefore its vaporware.
  12. You would be better off creating a brand new thread topic on your issue for help if that's what you wanted At least this is in the right place but since you're asking it looks like you spent just as much time reading this thread as you did reading the title for your issue.
  13. Are you talking about the Project Airbus V2.1 that was just released this year about 2 months ago? Maybe you should actually download it and take a look at the "visual" display of the model before making statements like that. There isn't another model of the Airbus A320 or A321 for that matter that is more accurate down to the signature double strobe or dropping ailerons feature than the Project Airbus A320. Those 2 features alone with wingflex make this not even up for debate. The PA A320 looks better than the AirSimmer and is more accurate overall as a visual model. I cant make that more clear and it is what it is.Ill acknowledge It takes a little bit of computer knowledge to merge the PA A320 model with the wilco panel/features to also make it have fly -by - wire (or even with the Airsimmer panel if you so choose) and to add vasFMC to make the PA A320 the best A320 out there. But your statement seems to have nothing to do with that and is purely on the "visual" aspect of both models. You jump the gun on this one and while I could care less if someone thinks the AirSimmer is better than the PA320 overall because the PA320 lacks a virtual cockpit and sounds and panel and you have to do a little bit of work yourself such as no self installer etc. However if one would take the time to follow one of the many tutorials on various websites to do all that to the PA320 you are loaded with repaints afterwards for almost every single airline as someone else eluded to here . The fact remains that their model overall looks better has more features.
