February 1, 201115 yr Hi,I'm going to make detailed terminal procedures (SID/STAR) for my favorite airports. I wonder if NGX will use the navigation data files of the same format as their previous products. What's more, can any one find a detailed tutorial about how to write SID/STAR for PMDG products correctly? Thanks,Howie Wong --- Howie Wong
February 1, 201115 yr Why would you start making and writing your own SID/STAR's for the PMDG when they use Navigraph with monthly updates? February 1, 201115 yr Author Why would you start making and writing your own SID/STAR's for the PMDG when they use Navigraph with monthly updates?Because for some airports, the data on Navigraph is not accurately programmed according to the lastest chart. I just want to find a detailed description about the format of PMDG's SID/STAR so I can rewrite them when neccessary. --- Howie Wong
February 1, 201115 yr Just look at the existing files, you'll figure out the format right away. You dont need a technical document describing it, it is very straight forward and obvious once you look at it
February 1, 201115 yr However you guys work that out, no. Ryan said somewhere that the FMC handles the navdata differently. Some might stay the same, but it will be different.
