Project Airbus A318 with Airbus X VC

Does anyone know if the Airbus X VC can be "ported over" to the Project Airbus A318 model? Bear in mind here that I am not looking for a working FMC or anything like that. I just need the display screens to work, plus the trim wheel, throttles, flaps, and parking brake! I have not purchased the Aerosoft Airbus X package yet, but I would do so immediately if I knew that I could use the high quality VC with the PA A318.

Since in FSX the VC is a separate model you should be able to do this. I've done it with Project airbus and Wilco A320.I'm pretty sure someone has done it already.

I have not tried but I have read that is was not possible with their VC. I do own the aircraft and I asked the same question a while back. Someone said it will load with an error message stating "wrong aircraft" or something.m I have not seen an example of it working anywhere.

NathanPlease tell us how you achieved that merge - I really like Wilco Vol.1 (A319, A320 etc) for the systems and cockpits, but hate their aircraft visual model.It would be great to 'replace' the Wilco planes for those of Project Airbus....ThanksToni.
