February 9, 201115 yr I got my first one in a long time last night. I run Orbx as well. Is there a log somewhere that records what the issue is or something like that?Cheers,MarkYes. You need to check the Event Viewer which logs all crashes. It will provide a clue as to what created the crash. You can investigate further via Google or Bing. If you want to check if Orbx is causing your crashes without looking at the Event Viewer, do not uninstall but simply go to the Scenery Library and disable the Orbx scenery. Restart FSX and see if that fixes the problem. If it does, you probably have a problem with scenery layering. Some other software is conflicting with the Orbx scenery. I think this can happen if you have, for instance, an AI program that is layered above the Orbx scenery. Any AI program should be layered just above "Propeller Objects" so that the AFCADS in the AI program do not conflict with the airports Orbx has created. With this scenario, the AI program will run the AFCADs (airport information) first, then, if you have another airport addon like all the airports rendered by Orbx, then they will run and take over anything written by the AI program. The AI Program will still function properly but only via the guidance provided by the developers of Orbx.Best regards,Jim
February 9, 201115 yr Yes. You need to check the Event Viewer which logs all crashes.... Thanks, Jim. It was AEmodule.dll which is part of AudioEnvironment conflicting with a Nemeth helicopter I was using at 1S2. All is well after removing the module. Haven't checked yet to see if Flight1 has fixed this yet. Thanks,Mark
