HOLDING PATTERN

During Holding Pattern (Right Hand only) the airplane level the wings for a few seconds on middle of Inbound Turn.

It's supposed to be a constant 180 degree turn, but as long as you cross directly over the fix it doesn't matter much in the end. Due to wind, holding patterns will never be perfect racetrack patterns.

In holding patterns (when flown by pilot rather than automation) the most important thing is proper wind compensation.

Make sure that you follow the published hold and use the right entry into the hold. One more thing make sure that you follow the speed limits for the hold according to your altitudeMHA-6000 is 200K 1 min legs or atc stated dme distance6001-14000 is 23014000 and above is 265 with a 1.5 min inboundJeffG
