First of all, understand that imagery varies a lot between different resolutions and from place to place. Setting 'higher' settings doesn't mean you will get better scenery necessarily.Secondly, the provider may have changed the imagery since those examples were published. Did you check the provider maps to see if it still looks the same there? Have you referenced the correct service?Thirdly, particularly in coastal areas, you have to experiment with settings for the range of the watermask - set too far out and you run into the end of the imagery; set too close, and you limit the width of the transition from shore to FSX water. Ed provided examples but not his settings for that particular image. You will have to experiment.Start with a (logical)lod_max=15... this limits to 1.2m--min_level=10max_level=19...you can leave this set hereno level_mapping--- FSX to scenery range 4.5 (slider max)--- FSX resolution to 1m--- set water as high as you can affordLoyd

Hooked since FS4... now flying: FSX Acceleration on Win7/64, Core Duo E8400; GA-EP45-DS3R; GTX 460-768MB; 4G RAM; Freezer 7 Pro
