February 12, 201115 yr Hey guys, got a problem and need some advice, i am installing fs2004 and i got to disk 4 when at 85% it got stuck on the "same.cab". I tied cleaning the disk but no joy so i pressed ignore and it carried on with the installation got to 100% and all looks good. My concern is have i messed something up by pressing ignore? if so (im going to try and install everything else) how would i get this "same.cab" if i need it? Chris Howard

That should produce a folder named SAME, with a scenery subfolder.Copy and Paste the SAME folder to your \Flight Simulator 9\Scenery folder - overwriting the "partial" SAME folder which you likely have. The SAME folder contains a lot of airport data (bgls) which you will need at some point in time.Let us know if that works please.
February 12, 201115 yr Author Hello there Opa, thanks for your reply. So far i have done what you said, now i put the zipped file into the "same" folder, extracted it and that contains another folder named scenery. Do i copy all of its contents and overwrite the original files? Chris Howard

So far i have done what you said, now i put the zipped file into the "same" folder, extracted it and that contains another folder named scenery. Do i copy all of its contents and overwrite the original files?I just uncabbed it myself and see that all you get is a folder named scenery.Copy that scenery folder and assuming you do have a folder in your Flight Simulator 9/scenery folder named Same, then just paste the scenery folder into the Same folder - again allowing overwrite if prompted. That will assure that you have all of the bgls in the Same scenery subfolder installed. If for some reason you do not have a folder named Same (along with the other scenery subfolders such as Afri, Asia, Aust etc.) in your scenery subfolder, then create a new folder named Same and paste the uncabbed scenery folder into your new Same folder. Hope that makes sense.
February 12, 201115 yr Author Thanks again Opa, i have done that and installed everything so i'll have a fly around and test it all out.Regards Chris Howard
February 12, 201115 yr Thanks again Opa, i have done that and installed everything so i'll have a fly around and test it all out.RegardsFYI - The Same folder contains airport data for South American airports such as Buenos Aires in Argentina.Any test flights you may do (to check out Same) should therefore be in South America.Hope that helps.
