I fly 1280x960x32 with 2XAA. (same ratio as 1024x768)Very similar system to yours..P4 2.4 @2.8512 RAMGeForce 4 Ti4200 128SyncMaster 700NF

I run 1024x768 with high IQ on a LCD screen. Your mileage may vary though!
