LowLand Tiger Meet flightsim event

Featured Replies

Hi fellow flightsimmers.lltm_patch_collection_2001_2010v3.pngI would like to invite you all to the LowLand Tiger Meet flight simulation event. We have been doing competition flying in the military domain for the last ten years.European championships in Falcon 4.0: Allied Force, IL-2 Sturmovik series and Lock On: Flaming Cliffs.Last year when Black Shark came to market we integrated this new sim in the Lock On section. For this year it looks promising with Rise of Flight and the new IL-2 title Cliffs of Dover. The event has become a hotspot for flightsim groups who look for an environment where they can setup a LAN and do their thing. May it be competition, freeflight or just being social and inform visitors and fellow simmers.DCS used the LowLand Tiger Meet to show the community their latest stand on the A-10C development. Hardware vendors test and show their latest game wear. Like Thrustmaster, Saitek and Logitech. But there is still something we find missing from the event. Although the event is called Tiger Meet, we are open to all sorts of flight simulations. May it be Condor, X-Plane or Tom Clancy's HAWX. Or MSFS, Black Shark or Janes F/A 18. We have for some years invited civilian flightsim groups to join the event. They where mostly personal invitations. We had never before actively informed the rest of the community of the possibilities and opportunities available on the LLTM event. So here it is in writing. We the LLTMCrew invite you all to come to fly with us on the LLTM2011 held in Germany near the Dutch border. We have a more then suitable location with lots of room, power, internet and beverage in the form of a buffet and bar. We run the event from Thursday 12:00 hrs on 7th April until Sunday 10th April 15:00 hrs 2011.The LLTMCrew is open for your ideas. If you want to try something new within your flightsim expertise, tell us and we make it work. If you want to do a RedBull air race in FSX, fine with us. Want to do an over land multi-leg competition flight in Condor, perfect. Show visitors and fellow simmers about your flightsim, you are more then welcome. We have the location, knowledge and motivation to make it work ....... together with you.Cost? € 12,50. This so we have some income to spend on prizes, award plates, medals etc. Besides that you will get a LLTM patch to remember the LLTM event. Hotels and Inn in the neighborhood. We serve a lunch and dinner in buffet form for all participants. Just so you have a hassle free flightsim event. For more details and impressions on the past LLTM events visit the LLTM website at www.lowlandtigermeet.com We hope to welcome you at LLTM2011.-----------------------------------------IceLowLand Tiger Meet

Really nobody interested in joining the event?May I ask why?

My guess is 2 reasons, first the location, but more importantly for some reason, most MSFS users arent interested in MP type flying so they dont check this forum.I would suggest you post this in the main FSX and FS9 forums, as well as VATSIM, you might get more response.

I tend to agree with Jay (both regarding the typical MSFS user and the forum to use; yes this is probably the correct forum, but it seems to have few followers). I must admit, it does sound like an interesting meeting and I really should make the time to look into multiplayer. Also Ice (forgive me if you've already done this) but it could well be worthwhile repeating your post in the Aerosoft forums. They have an annual FS show/meeting not far from you in Paderborn that's attended by a few thousand, so it could be that the Aerosoft forum users might be more receptive. In fact, it might be worth looking at booking some space at their show!

Cheers
