Been away for awhile and have forgotten some. Flying FMC entered route lax-sfo. I for some reason have waypoint that is taking me north for quite awhile. I want to turn west to quicken my flight time. I have tried deleting the WP but can't. Any help please.George KPHX

It is not possible to delete the active waypoint in the FMC.You have to execute a direct-to to the next waypoint to jump over it.
