February 16, 201115 yr Hi Jim,This is not a complaint, but more of a general curiosity question on how ASE works. Those interpolated stations displayed in ASE...are the interpolation algorithms generated by the program (ASE) or are those virtual stations generated by the HIFI weather servers and sent to ASE in the weather download?I'm just curious because of recent questions regarding the "north/south winds aloft", you said "there were changes made", but there was no ASE update. So because of this, I got to wondering if the advanced interpolation algorithms are done at the HIFI servers and ASE reads them from there. Do I have it right? If that's the case, bravo! Take the load off of ASE and get the big guns (weather servers) to do the hard work! :( Devin CYOW
February 16, 201115 yr Hi Devin,No, sorry to all of that. Besides that, that is all I can say here in public!

February 16, 201115 yr Author Hi Devin,No, sorry to all of that. Besides that, that is all I can say here in public!lol! No prob Jim. It was a curiosity question only!! I didn't expect trade secrets. Guard those like the "Coke" formula! :( Devin CYOW
