I recently cleaned out the PC completed and reformatted installed XP afresh. Perhaps I downloaded newer or older drivers than what was originally installed on the PCCan you recommend which drivers to use from NVIDIA for the set up I'm running (see specs in signature file)
Hi again!One thing you don't want to do is let Windows Update do the driver updating. This has slowed down my fs9 installation before. I'm currently still using the 182.50 drivers for my 8600GT, seems to run the best on my system but this may be one of those things that is different for everyone.

Thanks for the information. No I didn't use Windows Updater. But, I may have downloaded newer/older drivers than I did use in my previous setup. I failed to make a copy of the driver number!I'll check the ones you are using, install and see what happens.To my knowledge, you are correct that drivers affect different configurations differently.
