February 17, 201115 yr Is there a utility I can download or buy to adjust how AI planes land and depart at certain airports. For example KDCA I would like them to follow the real life river visual approach and departure. This is for FSX thanks in advance.John JetLine Systems Gravity GT2-Windows 10 Home Edition (64-Bit), NZXT H500 Mid-Tower, Black, Gigabyte Aorus Z390 PRO WIFI, LGA 1151, Intel 9th Gen Core i9 9900K (5.0GHz Turbo) 8 Core / 16 Thread, Corsair Hydro H60 120mm Liquid Cooling, 32GB Corsair DDR4 SDRAM 3000MHz RGB, 12GB Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070, GDDR6, 750 Watt Corsair RM Series Power Supply, 5.1 Channel Realtek Integrated HD Audio, Primary SSD Drive:1TB Samsung 970 EVO, M.2 NVMe PCIe (SSD), Secondary SSD Drive:2TB Samsung 970 EVO, M.2 NVMe PCIe (SSD) 4TB WD Black 7200 RPM Mechanical , SimOn Solutions 737 Professional Compact Trainer (MIP, OH). It depends on the flightplan type (VFR/IFR), the existence of an ILS approach for a runway (both in VMC and IMC), or another approach type for a runway (IMC). For the most part, you can get AI to take a simple curved approach to an ILS within some limits, which include how the FDE for the AI are tweaked. The best way is use ADEX airport editor which can edit approach data, and look at the dedicated forum on fsdeveloper.com. I believe that at an airport like KDCA, AI will preferentially use the ILS 1 approach. In low viz conditions you might get an LDA 19 approach, and that approach I believe you can tweak.scott s..
