February 21, 201115 yr Overclock the CPU to 4.2 GHz with good cooling and you've got yourself a stinker. Ross Thomson. Intel i7 @ 4.2 Ghz | 10GB DDR3 Corsair | GTX 460 | 600W OCZ | Windows 7 Ultimate 64x. Email me
February 21, 201115 yr Well if you can get ahold of a Sandy Bridge motherboard, I'd recommend an i5-2500k processor. Go check out the hardware forum - there are several guys including myself who have purchased Sandy Bridge systems. Some of them even upgraded from sockeet 1366 systems and still saw noticeable improvements with 1155 hardware.
