Carenado PA34 Seneca II

Featured Replies

Hi AllI've purchased Carenado's excellent PA34 Seneca which I'm using for training whilst I do my Instrument Rating, The ADF in the sim is fixed card whilstthe aircraft we fly have the ADF's slaved to the magnetic compass. It's quite a mundane task trying to rotate the card whilst flying the NDB by hand.Does anyone know of a way to edit the aircraft cfg. to slave the fixed card to one which is slaved to the DGI? Regards, Sam.

You would have to replace the ADF gauge by another gauge...Do you have an aircraft in your hangar with a slaved card?If yes, you should be able to replace the ADF by editing the panel.cfg file. If you are willing to spend the money, you can buy the RealityXP FLN packagewhich includes two ADF heads (BK and Stec) with slaving option.Attached a screen shot of the Seneca with some replacement gauges in the panel..
