The default is Core->250 Memory->446Which is max and safety setting ? i have 5 coolers in my case.RegardsTUNKA

No easy answer to that- it will depend on your particular system.I also have T14200/128 and my default settings are 250/513 .Best is to take things upwards one step at a time(I think that is an increase of 5 in both core and RAM.) .Provided it passes the self test it does when you alter the settings - keep the new setting for a day or two then put things up a step more.If you reach a point where you start to experience problems(Instabilty, garbled graphics etc),back of a couple of steps.Note that you will need to reset to the new setting each time you start up unless you check the box "Start up with these settings"Altho I have taken mine up to 265/553 in tests with no ill effects, the advantage gained was minimal(3DMark 2001 gave a rise of 250 points on 9130 to 9380).I felt it was probably better to let the Graphics card have an easy life so reverted to default. BTW - there was a more noticeable advantage by altering the RAM setting rather than the core.Dave

Ti4200-128s come with different memory, depending on the manufacturer..Mine was set to 250/500 default and runs quite happily at 275/550.I cannot say I gain more that 1-2 fps, but no stability problems thus far..

Bert

I got mine running at 270/500, I don't notice much difference in FS, it seems to more noticeable in Vice City and Battlefield 1942.

I have my Ti4200 128mg running at 299/599 with no problems what so ever. Heat is not even an issue. Anything over I do start to get artifacts appearing...so I'm comfortable at this. Harry

HarryHave you tried running a benchmark such as 3D2001 to see what sort of difference that makes against your default settings?Dave

THANKS Guys :)TUNKA

No I haven't. I do get a smoother sim with this overclocking, but by how much, I'm not sure. My train of though?......it's gotta be doing the best it can, if I got it running as fast as I can! LOLHarry
