November 15, 200322 yr It appears in the manual there is a way to bring up a landing view, but I have yet to find it. Any clues?Noel Noel System: 9900X3D Noctua NH-D15 G2, MSI Pro 650-P WiFi, G.SKILL 64GB (2 x 32GB) 288-Pin PC RAM DDR5 6000, WD NVMe 2Tb x 1, Sabrent NVMe 2Tb x 1, RTX 4090 FE, Corsair RM1000W PSU, Win11 Home, LG Ultra Curved Gsync Ultimate 3440x1440, Phanteks Enthoo Pro Case, TCA Boeing Edition Yoke & TQ, Cessna Trim Wheel, RTSS Framerate Limiter w/ Front Edge Sync. November 15, 200322 yr Check out page 7-5 of the manual for an explanation of the eyepoint adjustment on the dash.I changed my Panel.cfg to alter my eyepoint slightly. This from my "Views" section:VIEW_FORWARD_DIR=5.2, 0.0, 0.0Default settings are 3.2, 0.0, 0.0
November 16, 200322 yr I dont think an eye adjustment has anything to do with a 'landing panel'.If you look in the panel.cfg file you will see the landing panel information there. By default, it has been 'remarked' out by the use of double slashes at the begining of the actual line. Just remove these slashes and you get the landing view panel.good luck CPU: Core i5-6600K 4 core (3.5GHz) - overclock to 4.3 | RAM: (1066 MHz) 16GB MOBO: ASUS Z170 Pro | GeForce GTX 1070 8GB | MONITOR: 2560 X 1440 2K
November 17, 200322 yr Author Mike, I removed the slashes, and see no landing view panel. What am I doing wrong?Noel Noel System: 9900X3D Noctua NH-D15 G2, MSI Pro 650-P WiFi, G.SKILL 64GB (2 x 32GB) 288-Pin PC RAM DDR5 6000, WD NVMe 2Tb x 1, Sabrent NVMe 2Tb x 1, RTX 4090 FE, Corsair RM1000W PSU, Win11 Home, LG Ultra Curved Gsync Ultimate 3440x1440, Phanteks Enthoo Pro Case, TCA Boeing Edition Yoke & TQ, Cessna Trim Wheel, RTSS Framerate Limiter w/ Front Edge Sync. November 17, 200322 yr That's odd, Mike. My Panel.cfg doesn't have the "FLIGHT1_MERIDIAN_LDG.bmp" section in it! It shows the "WINDOW07=VFR Yoke" and "WINDOW08=IFR Yoke" lines at the beginning, but not the LDG.bmp section.Curious as to what sort of install you made for the Meridian in FS9? I d/l the update, not the full 2004 file (which is something like 65Mb). I installed the FS2K2 Meridian into FS9, then applied the update per F1 directions. All works well, I've had no problems with the Meridian.I did look in the Panel folder and saw the LDG.bmp. But no call for it in my Panel.cfg.
