March 3, 201115 yr Late last year I bought a new computer (see below) and have enjoyed flawless performance ever since. But just recently I have started to see an occasional pause while (I assume) it loads new textures. It wasn't doing that until I recently tried a tweak I saw on here - it caused a frame rate hit so I went back to my original fs9.cfg but now I have this problem. I don't want to call it "stuttering" and my FPS are normal. It's just a momentary pause that wasn't there before. If anyone can help I would be gratefulIan

March 3, 201115 yr Author Hello,Can you be more specific about this tweak ?Regards.GusHi GusI would have to search back and find the thread and even then it won't totally help as I tried several different things that were suggested. But I then replaced the "tweaked" file with the backup of my previous one, so it should have restored back to the original settings. Maybe I'll try removing the FS9.cfg file and then start the game up and get it to create a fresh file and go from there.I'll keep you posted

Not quite sure why as I was sure I completely replaced the "tweaked" file with the backed up one. But removing it, restarting FS9 and having it compile a fresh .cfg file solved the problem and I am back to having smooth performance again
