March 4, 201115 yr Whilst I would prefer to use the VC from the Aerosoft Airbus X package with my Project Airbus A318, does anyone know if the VC from the Just Flight A318 works with the PA plane? The JF A318 is only £5 ($8), and the VC looks better than the default A321 version. However, I would like to know how to get the VC working with the Project Airbus A318. I have been given some instructions by someone over at the flightsim.com forum, but at the moment the VC is not displaying at all! All I am seeing is the runway.... March 6, 201115 yr Generally speaking, at least as far as getting the VC to display, it's a matter of swapping panel folders, switching the interior MDL file in the Model folder (amending the model.cfg file to reflect the change), and then transferring the new VC texture files to the appropriate texture folder of the aircraft in question. I can't speak for the fine points regarding air file changes, etc., since I usually am satisfied at that point. John
March 6, 201115 yr Christopher,Have you panned around to check that the new VC is not hidden "behind" you? Sometimes I forget to substitute the new EYEPOINT in the aircraft.cfg file.John
March 6, 201115 yr Author Success! I have finally managed to get it working, and this time your suggestion regarding the eyepoint proved to be correct. When I tried before, panning revealed nothing, but I must have done something differently this time, because when I looked behind me, I could see the interior of the cockpit! When I modified the eyepoint coordinates in my aircraft.cfg file, everything snapped neatly into position :( Many thanks for your help.
