SSDs do not help FSX from a performance (FPS) standpoint but do cut FSX load times down significantly. BTW, your CPU is begging you for an OC. FSX "comes alive" at about 4 ghz and shines even more at higher OCs. Cheers, Scott Ball
March 5, 201115 yr As Scott said, If you purchase the OCZ SSD, I would recommend installing Windows to the SSD. Keep FSX on the Raptor and use the Seagate for storage or other "games/programs". I'm not sure how much space the Raptor has but 120GB on the SSD wouldn't be enough for my FSX to breathe. And yes, having a 980X without overclocking is nonsensical. Just bump the multiplier up and viola! It's like owning a top fuel dragster but using it only to get groceries on Fridays (The 980X was built to overclock). ___________________________________________________________________________________ Zachary Waddell -- Caravan Driver -- Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/zwaddell Avsim ToS Avsim Screenshot Rules
