The recent revised site interface

Featured Replies

Well, I hope part of the rationale for reverting back to the old site was to consider revamping the GUI on the new site in some huge ways. This is of course just my opinion I realize. I found the restricted screen real estate combined with ways subjects were displayed were just very unintuitive, cluttered, and confusing in places. The current page is exceedingly easy to parse, focus on what is personally relevant. It was a masterpiece of simplicity, and I was able to use the entire width of my screen.Anyway, as you know I am a fan and contributor financially & with interaction in the forums, so I say this only to just be honest and direct as I think that is the best approach--lay it out there as you see/feel it. Developers are best off if they get the unvarnished goods, IMHO of course! Last I checked, AVSIM was a definite success. So you have to be careful to not deviate too far from proven success, no?At least widen the sucker!Noel
