PFD black, autopilot buttons don't work

Featured Replies

Finally got a good install after cleaning a couple old PMDG gauge files out of gauges folder. Now engines start, FMC functional but PFD stays black and autopilot buttons don't work. Any ideas? Thanks all.Robert

Still sounds like an install issue or a potential authentication issue. If your reinstalling make sure after you unistall all of the NG files/folders are deleted before reinstalling.

Finally, my note to Ryan of PMDG support this am...."Ryan my man! Last thing I did last night, went into the PMDG menu on top of FS9 window, clicked on General, Styles, and the PFD/on radio button was not ticked, I ticked it and voila, PFD, autopilot and everything else works. Ahhhhh... Why isn't that on as default and why didn't you suggest I ck that. Anyway, thanks for your interest and help. hope this may all help someone in the future! Flies well, 6 FPS with VC, heavy weather and FSINN on. Not bad, will enjoy this. Take care.Robert"Really nice product, finally, love the FMC.Robert
