Problem with AITM2

Featured Replies

Hello everyone,I installed AITM, then the AITM2 Alpha update since I am using FS2004.It loads up perfectly fine, but I cannot load any airport timetables. I type in an airport ICAO code, but all the buttons at the bottom are greyed out. So I can't click them. It's as if it's not even recognizing FS2004.I must have forgot to do something. Anyone have any ideas?Regards

Okay, apparently I misunderstood the use of this program.I thought there was a way to view an airport's entire schedule for all airlines.I loaded up the PAI AFR flight plan and saw a list of its flight.Isn't their a program that lets you view ALL airlines at once of one particular airport?Regards

I'm assuming you are talking about having multiple flight plan files, one for each airline? To view them all together in AITM, create a Project with those files. Then you can view them as if they were one big file (which they would be if you actually save the file). Backup your original flight plan files the first times you do this, just for safety.Hope this helps,--Tom GibsonCal Classic Propliner Page: http://www.calclassic.comFreeflight Design Shop: http://www.freeflightdesign.comDrop by! ___x_x_(")_x_x___

Thanks a lot.Yeah, I'm talking about multiple flight plans. All of the ones I have installed.Regards

I'm not using version 2 yet but do use it for FS2K2. What I did was create a project for merging. For one sub folder I imported the original traffic bgl file which nicely generated an airport list,, I think the default aircraft list, and the flight plans which generate the time tables. I also made a safe copy of this folder and the bgl file itself.I then basicly dumped all the commercial flights. In other folders one step down from the merge, I downloaded the flight plans for my choice area of interest from various sources. I put these which included the plan, aircraft list, and additions as required to the airport list each in its own folder under the project folder and proceeded to merge.I then checked the main folder for errors putting correction in the appropriate sub-folder as needed. I used about four airlines.I downloaded the needed AI and relabeled either the aircraft.txt definition or aircraft.cfg, or both, to get an error free non-duplicated aircraft list after the merge and checked for other areas. The merged result allowed me to have quite a list of scheduled flights at many of the airports of interest. A timetable showed for each.It is important to note after decompiling the default bgl, you can display a timetable which should show you something of the default aircraft and schedules for the default airports.Anyway, after troubleshooting the merged project, I saved it (compiling) to the proper directory. The point is (thanking you for your patience) that with AITM you can decompile and then get schedules for the default plans.
