Should I be worried that my A340 from PSS is going to look like a toy compared to this? http://www.aviograsf.com/Im not trying to start PSS bashing, i just want to know what others think, or if anyone has more info than what is available.Jason

I guess we'll have to wait and see. Function-wise, it looks to be a step up from the PSS.It's funny you mention "toy" because I get the impression that their panel looks like a lot like a toy from their preview screenshots.I just hope that they can improve their panel bitmap and get rid of that strange shine in the middle of the panel and straighten the lines out. If you noticed, the panel is drawn at a strange convex perspective that makes it look like you are viewing it from a fish-eye lense. Thomas

It's doubtful, the graphics look horrible and it doesnt appear to be any more functional than PSS's version(which has nicer graphics&VC).Besides, who's ever heard of AVIOGRASF? :-rollI suppose we'll have to see...JohnP 2.53 GHZ512 RAMWINXPGFORCE 4 128MB Ti4600http://homepage.eircom.net/~eamonnmca/images/logo_ba.JPGwww.bavirtual.co.uk Senior Captain Simflight.com Staff Reviewerhttp://vatsim.pilotmedia.fi/statusindicato...indicator=BAV01

Not bad. Mixed emotions , here. The external model is not bad, I like more the PSS one.I don

Oh yes, right, the PSS. They've repeated said that "nothing new will be added" for the patch so what you see is what you get, pretty much. The only big thing that they are focusing on for their highly anticipated 2 months in waiting patch is the big "3rd party gauge error" that half the people aren't even getting anyway. I hope I'll be proved wrong but I think no matter what, the patch certainly won't bring in anything new to improve the PSS panel's functionality.Thomas

Well, I know that there is no way I could handle the primary flight instruments occupying such an off-center position. I can't fly straight or line up with panels like this 'cause I can't figure out which way the plane is really pointed. I can't comment on PSS - never bought one of their products. Strikes me, though, that PMDG seems to be doing a good job adressing issues with their NG at the same time that PSS seems happy to blame MS for not releasing an SDK instead of adressing issues with their airplane. But for the sake of truth in advertising I may be prejudiced. I don't like paying for liveries.

It will be interesting to see if this thread is moderated soon.--qnh

>It will be interesting to see if this thread is moderated>soon.>>--qnhSure enough.BTW, I will opine on this new plane coming out. Looks to be a plane that I will keep my eye on, but if they do a SSW then I won't touch it with a 10 ft poll.
