March 26, 201115 yr HiI downloaded Gary Herbert's awesome B-17G a while ago, and downloaded a panel (17g.zip) and a soundpack (b17sndpk.zip), both from Avsim. I was just wondering, how accurate is the flight model? Does it model the B-17's nuances well? I'm not a pilot IRL, so I couldn't say either way...
March 29, 201115 yr Probably not. So far I've only been able to fly the A2A B-17G but from my experience, the GH B-17G isn't going to be any better, if not worse. Dave. When I say realistic, I mean "tested by real pilots and given 5 stars for realism" realistic :PHow do developers write FDE anyway? I heard they just slap some default FDE in the Aircraft file and tweak it to match the real thing....:( Probably not.
