How to configure Real172?

Featured Replies

I would like to configure the Realair 172 to be just like the real 172S that I fly..in terms of performace etc..e.g. I am unable to fly the real air 172 at 110 IAS even with full throttle. How much can I do this and how do I go about doing it?anyhelp?:)

HI,This must be one of three things!1) Your throttle needs calibrating in windowsor 2) You're not flying with flaps are you? (Sorry this is a bit cheeky, but you never know!)or3) You are flying uphill (even cheekier but no harm meant)The RealAir 172 isn't perfect but it does achieve 126 knots flat out near sea level.I wish I could help further.Kind Regards,Rob Young - RealAir Simulations

Rob Mea Culpa,Its not uphill or Flaps. Its not even Realair 172. Its some other aircraft.. I was flying the realair 172 then I switched to the other one... and the Panels are the stock panels.. and I didn't relaize. I was under the impression that it was the Realair 172.I am truly sorry about the gaff. But I am still curious about.....if a performance of an aircraft can be modified to what I have on my POH for any aircraft in the FSim.BTW Rob, I am downloading the Real air Decathlon as we speak... After I gte my PPL , I would be checking out on the Decathlon..so I am glad you guys have it.:)

HI Manny,Thanks for confirming you had the wrong aircraft. That's honest of you and also a relief to me, as I was beginning to worry.Hope you enjoy the Decathlon...Regards,Rob
